Well, I’ve got some great news that you might want to hear and share with your students. I’ve just accepted a new position with TogetherSoft (a software company in Raleigh, NC) doing Java Object Modeling and Software Engineering. Part of the interview process was my coming to Raleigh and giving a 15 minute presentation on object oriented software design. Before this presentation, I read the two books that the founder of the company wrote using your techniques. Because I was able to read and digest them so quickly (roughly 500 pages in a little less than 2 weeks), I gave a presentation that they liked so much, they are going to bring me in at a more senior level, which pays $10,000 more than what the norm for this company. So, essentially, I spent $425 on your reading program and made $10,000 a few months later. Not a bad deal, I’d say.
